I am interested in the various types of relationships between people. My work aims to illustrate what I observe in the relationships I am surrounded by, exploring themes such as longing, attachment, fragility, suffocation, and entrapment. It is important that these works be in glass because of its transparency and fragility. Through stained glass processes I am able to layer glass as a representation of the layers in relationships, where as with borosilicate glass I am able to show the delicate connection between people. As with relationships, the material can be strong, but also easily broken.
